U3 – a band of ageing rockers playing well-loved tracks from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. The music ranges from that of classic rock of acts, such as Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, to more traditional blues, from Muddy Waters, through Fleetwood Mac to Gary Moore. Since getting together in 2024 as a scratch band within Monmouth u3a, U3 has played regularly at various venues in and around Monmouth, predominantly, in support of good causes.
